I have lived in Dallas, TX for most of my life. I moved from Kilgore, TX to Dallas as a teenager and with the exception of a short stint (about 4 years) back in East Texas, have been here ever since.
My passions are my daughters and real estate. But since this blog is really about East Dallas and the unique neighborhoods and real estate that it has to offer, I'll focus on that.
I got my real estate license in 1995 and initially dealt strictly with the booming apartment locating market that existed in the Uptown area. It was a great introduction to real estate and was lots of fun. To this day, I can track many sales to relationships I made during my years as an apartment locator. In 2000, I created “City Living Residential Real Estate” and ultimately merged with Keller Williams Realty in 2006, creating “The City Living Team”. In doing so, I chose the # 1 Producing Office in DFW to hang my license… a choice, in large part, to benefit my sellers! Believing that buyers spend much more time collecting information online than ever before, I emphasize Technology and Internet Based Marketing for my listings, thereby focusing much of my marketing budget and time putting my listings “out there” for buyers to find online.
In 2007, I was named one of the top producing agents in my office of over 450 agents... an accomplishment that was repeated annually, ever since. In 2008, I was invited to join the Agent Leadership Council, which was a thrill to be a part of and a committe that I will continue to serve on in 2013. I was voted "Best Real Estate Agent in Dallas" by D Magazine in 2008, 2009, 2010 and again in 2011.
2012 was an amazing year. The best I have ever had in real estate. I represented buyers and sellers from Keller to Forney; but for the most part, stayed near Downtown Dallas... South of LBJ on either side of I-75 and the North Dallas Tollway. In 2013, I am focusing on redirecting my focus entirely on the areas south of LBJ... more specifically, East Dallas. Because East Dallas is my home, and it is what I love.
